Design Licensing – How It Works?

Non-Exclusive License

Non-Exclusive licensing means you license a design, under a specific category, for a set period of time. Non-Exclusive means no one else can license the same design under the same category as you, however can purchase the same design under a different category.

Exclusive License

With an Exclusive license you can print your chosen design on any product - so there is no category limitation and no one else can license, during period you have licensed it for.

With the first two categories, designs can be altered in colour and scale; however this may incur additional fees.

Custom Exclusive

If you’re after something completely new and unique for your brand I can create a custom design for you. To create a custom design we discuss the theme, motifs and elements you would like to see in the design, colour, pattern and the overall style. I usually ask you to pick some of my previous designs as examples of what you love and then I create a design for you. It also includes two revisions throughout the design process and sketches/mood board. This process can take a little extra time and lots of consultation but it means you end up with something unique, specifically designed for your brand.

Did you draw/create all the work?

Yes, all the designs on my website and on social media are drawn by me either with pencil or paint then scanned in to use illustrator to turn into designs. Inspiration comes from nature and my surroundings.

Do you have any other designs?

Most definitely. I have designed a selection on this site to showcase my style but I have more designs that may be in the works or haven’t shared yet.
